SPONGE PROFILES


Sponge Extrusions have good resistance to Temperature, UV light and Ozone (Depends on the Polymer Selection). They are also anti-stick and have good vibration damping properties. Kiran offers a range of grades and profiles and can manufacture many others from samples or drawings.

PROFILES WITH METAL INSERTS

 

Manufactured using Co-Extrusion of Solid and Sponge Rubbers having a Dual Function – They cover sharp unfinished edges and also offer a sealing function. The sponge rubber tubes are very flexible and are suitable for sealing doors, hatches, and many differing applications. They can be glued to make frames or rings. The profiles are pressed onto the edge by hand or with a rubber mallet installation is quick and easy.
